For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only five active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Sloth’s Territory is a private reserve located in El Tanque, less than 10 minutes away from La Fortuna downtown (Arenal Volcano).

The observation hike, a truly enigmatic experience is developed through a safe path. this trail runs the reserve along La Havana River, and offers the opportunity to observe many kind of animals in it’s natural habitat.
Two & three-toed sloths, opossums, red frogs, porcupines, different kind of birds such as; Toucans, Tanagers, Royal Flycatchers, Hummingbirds, Parrots, Honeycreepers, Cinnamon Woodpeckers, enrich the activity.

The tour includes a trained guide during the whole hike with professional telescope and it finish with a break to enjoy our more selected seasonal fruits (most of them from our organic field).
On this tour you will go to the Tenorio Volcano National Park. In this park you will witness the rare phenomena of the blue river. The hike itself is medium tough and takes about 4 hours. It takes you to the stunningly beautiful waterfall, a high lookout point and the place where you can see the river change color. After the hike you will enjoy lunch and have some free time to take a quick dip in the river before heading back to La Fortuna.
Set a course for adventure with this ziplining/white water rafting tour! Zip through the jungle canopy before paddling down fun Class II-III rapids, all under the watchful eyes of your guides/instructors. Pick-up/drop-off, lunch and refreshments are included; professional photography will be available for purchase separately if you choose.
This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous froags and snakes even birds.

This activity will take you to know the wonderful nocturnal secrets of the tropical rainforest accompanied by a Naturalist Guide.
We will visit the trails of one of the best areas of La Fortuna to observe the local flora and fauna at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, Senderos and Mirador El Silencio.
We will enter the forest in search of the hourglass frog, the Blue Jeans frog, the largest frog in the country, the “Chicken Eater Frog” and the most beautiful in Costa Rica, the red-eyed tree frog.
Also in this place it is possible to observe some species of leaf insects, stick insects, snakes, such as the eyelash viper, snails, Velveteens, the Stone Hand Viper and coral snakes, some mammals such as sloths, opossums and anteaters.
This tour is ideal for those who want to take advantage of every minute in Costa Rica, discovering some of the country’s nocturnal wonders in a night hike. We will begin our tour in a small town known as La Tigra, located just 30 minutes from La Fortuna. Once we arrive, we will take the trail in to a small patch of rainforest in the process of regeneration with some mirrored lakes, which facilitate wildlife observation. You can expect to see species like nocturnal birds and mammals, insects, amphibians, bats, and more.
